Agenda:
Notes:
TECHNOLOGY UPDATE:
Tech has 3 new tech contacts: Thailand, Taiwan, and the Philippines. Jacqueline has made contact with all of the economies except Tokyo and Mexico City (who were tentative).
Tech needs an email address for Korea contact from Health. EunSuk was in contact with Korean contact and will provide that email address.
Canada: Yuzo has asked the contact at Health Canada to confirm that we have the correct address. Also, he has asked if they will be participating from Ottawa or BC Canada. Health Canada is located in Ottawa. Health Canada self selected Natalie St. Lawrence and she is the point person that Health Canada gave us.
Brunei: Will they be traveling? The health contact can travel self-funded, but private sector cannot travel.
Peoples Republic of China: Yuzo asked Jacqueline if she would introduce the People's Republic of China contacts to each other.
Mexico: Mexico Health will be in Mexico City. Health contact has been contacting the ministry of health. We have a commitment. Mexico City is no longer tentative.
Japan: one of the SC members is from Japan. He said he would check with the Health contact (Hiroki Haruta). Jacqueline is aware that Japan (Dr. Suzuki) asked about tech specifics.
Singapore: Yuzo will forward an email regarding Singapore tech contact to Karalee.
Peru: Karalee has sent Walter Curioso an email.
WEBSITE:
Nedra has been working on the web page. First page is live and second page will be when the password is given out. She is waiting on the okay from everyone to go live. The address is: http://depts.washington.edu/einet/. Nedra to add: "Tentative participating economies and local time" on website. It might be good to add UCT following local times on website. Canada has two different time zones at this point (Ottawa and BC). We will need to update the website if they are participating from Ottawa.
DAY OF INFORMATION:
Symposium is going to be 5 hours total with 10 minutes of presentation, and 5 minutes of Q&A (no break).
Toby from CDC will be the one speaking for this event. Will there be a business person? If so, they will be self-selected by CDC.
David Numaro from the UN will be here in Seattle from NYC. He can make opening remarks.
Economies will be participating from 15 Locations at most.
All the presentations should be in a shared location.
It will be important to have a plan "A" and a plan "B". David has some backup solutions.
Different locations might have a different view on the screen than we do (depending on the technology used).
It will be very useful for Carl (and others) to come in to the "Dry Run" with questions.
Tentative agenda will be on the website prior to day-of.
Louis is making the arrangements with UW TV.
Carl will be doing a walk-through with David and Jacob.
Action Items:
EunSuk was in contact with Korean contact and will provide that email address.
Yuzo to send a reminder to the list that for the sake of the traveling people, we need to know a month in advance for travel reimbursement.
Yuzo will check with Louis and Jacqueline as to whether or not Brunei will be traveling.

EunSuk will provide email for R. of Korea
