UPDATE ON ECONOMIES
Korea:
EunSuk was in contact with Korean contact and will provide that email address. Yuzo will follow-up with him.
Brunei:
Louis and Ann Marie have indicated that Brunei will be traveling to Singapore (they are self funded).
Canada:
Matt contacted Canada- they will participate. They are seeking participants from the health and private sector. They will be participating from OTTAWA.
People's Republic of China:
The People's Republic of China contacts have been introduced to each other. Karalee will contact both (if a decision hasn't been made as to who will be the tech contact by 4/18) of them to have them answer tech questions and do the speed test.
Singapore:
Karalee has contacted the Singapore tech contact, Goh Cheng Chye Stanley.
Soo Sim needs to be put in touch with the tech contact. Yuzo will write back to Soo Sim and say that we will be in contact when we know.Philippians:
Karalee has emailed Zeppy Vilan.
Karalee will email Conky Quizon (Senior Technical Advisor for TEPHINET) to say that she is still waiting to hear from the tech contact.
Japan:
Health will be participating- no longer tentative.

We can bring pizza into the building. The writing center is not available but Jacob will check to see if we can use 220.
Will we have a spill over room? (Adjacent room could be an option for a few people.)

Day-of Agenda: A break is necessary, and we'll probably need to plan for 2 (every 2 hours).
It would be nice to send out a sample of our "checklist" of day-of things to remember (such as food for participants and assigning someone the role of "host") for participating economies.

Coji from the Steering Committee was wondering if WHO could observe. From a technical standpoint, it wouldn't make an impact as long as there is room for the person.
