Tech Report:
A survey was sent out to all of the economies and five have responded. Overall people were able to hear clearly and email and phone worked for most people. Ari will send out the survey again for more response. Perhaps he will say something about what other have said (as an incentive to respond).
Also, the tech team has secured the venue for us to use forever (virtual room). In an emergency, we could tell the tech folks to go to this venue. Ann Marie is in the process of refinancing the loan for this project.
- The permanent venue is free.
- $30,000 still in process.
Notes Review:
Matt sent another note out yesterday. Koji felt that it was soon to do an article, that we should get notes together before sending out report. It was decided that the notes will be due 10 days from now (July 6). So far, Canada and the US have responded and given feedback. Ann Marie will check with Emi on where the progress report is. The next step is to ask for comments for the report.
Health has received 5 responses to their survey (3 economies represented). There were some audio issues reported. Japan said they couldn't hear everyone as did Singapore. Thailand reported poor visibility (Koji). Ann Marie suggested that Ari, Yuzo, and Matt could sit together and compare their complementary surveys.
Onward work:
GEIS: Ann Marie put a report into them. Parvac is what does this here. The idea would be to work with them and with Instead (Google). They've agreed to provide us with the analytics tools while we provide feedback. Ann Marie asked that the tech team put something into the draft for the proposal about securing the venue.
APEC: Proposal due to the state department by June 30th.
Grameen Health Bangladesh: Ann Marie will send attachments. ADB: Have been interested in learning more about our work with APEC. They have been doing a lot of similar things, but not with APEC.
Next step: to write reports.
UW TV:
Louis said all we need is a list of people to interview in Seattle (which Ann Marie collected during the meeting). Matt, Yuzo, Emi, Jacob and Ari will be interviewed. Sherry is getting the release forms for UW TV and people are sending them to Yuzo. Ann Marie will send names and emails to Patrick at UW TV. Rod Hoff from the REDI center has family in Seattle, Ann Marie to check with him about being interviewed for UW TV.
UW Weekly article should be out now.
Yuzo wants to put the presentations onto the public site. (Nedra will be back next Thursday.)
Peru meeting is on the 13th and 14th of August (Health Working Group Meeting).
Louis will be in town the week of the 14th. We should have a celebration. Sherry will coordinate this with Louis' schedule.
