(1) Your home directory on hyak has a 10 GB disk usage limit. This disk quota is per user. If you are getting disk quota errors when saving files in your home directory then delete some files to free up some disk space.

(2) There is also a gscratch and a suppscr disk quota  which is a per group disk quota. In below text, xyz is your group name. The directory /gscratch/xyz is on both ikt.hyak and mox.hyak. The directory /suppscr/xyz is only on ikt.hyak.

The /gscratch/xyz and /suppscr/xyz directories contain a file usage_report.txt which describes the disk usage for each member of your group. If you are getting disk quota errors when saving files in your gscratch and suppscr directory then contact your group members and figure out how you and your group members can delete some files to free up some disk space.

(3) The directory /gscratch/stf  belongs to the stf group (research computing club group). The files in /gscratch/stf which are older than 30 days are deleted.

(4) On mox.hyak there is a directory /gscratch/scrubbed. The files in /gscratch/scrubbed which are older than 30 days are deleted. If your userid is abc then use below command to create a directory to store your files:

mkdir /gscratch/scrubbed/abc
