The SHA-1 sun has set. Certificates with a SHA-1 signature are no longer available from UW CA.
UW CA began issuing SHA-2 certificates by default on April 27, 2016. SHA-1 certs can be requested by emailing help@uw.edu. Requests will usually be granted as long as the validity period of the certificate falls in the ranges below. Since a SHA-1 collision has been demonstrated as of February 2017, we may ask for approval from the the owner of the resources you are accessing before granting the request.
